Growing older is inevitable.
How you grow older is not.

Most people spend decades preparing financially for retirement. Few prepare for the strength, mobility, cognitive vitality, emotional resilience, relationships, and sense of purpose needed to fully enjoy the years ahead. The result is often a gradual loss of the very abilities that make life meaningful.

The Healthspan Framework was created to change that. Rather than focusing on one aspect of healthy living, it brings together the evidence-based lifestyle factors that shape how we age into one comprehensive system. The goal is simple: preserve and expand the capacities that allow you to continue doing what matters most. Because the greatest investment we can make is in the quality of the years ahead.

What is The Healthspan Framework?

The Healthspan Framework is a comprehensive lifestyle system that integrates the science of healthy aging into practical, sustainable action. It is built on decades of research demonstrating that everyday choices influence how well we age. Rather than pursuing isolated goals, the framework addresses the interconnected lifestyle domains that support long-term capability, resilience, and independence.

Whether your goal is to remain active with family, travel with confidence, continue contributing to your community, or simply enjoy daily life with greater energy, the framework provides a structured path forward.

The Healthspan Capacity Model.

Ten interconnected capacities that influence how you experience aging. Together, they form one comprehensive system for building a longer, healthier, more fulfilling life.

Measure what matters.

Most people know their weight. Many know their blood pressure. Few understand the lifestyle capacities that influence how well they are aging.

The Healthspan Capacity Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of the lifestyle factors that influence your ability to thrive in the decades ahead. From there, we create a personalized roadmap designed to strengthen your greatest opportunities for growth.

Knowledge creates clarity. Clarity creates action. Action creates lasting change.

The Healthspan Capacity Assessment is an educational lifestyle evaluation. It is not a medical test and does not diagnose, treat, or screen for any condition.

The person behind the framework.

Denice Fox, Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach

The Healthspan Framework is built on my graduate education at Mayo Clinic in Health and Wellness Coaching, National Board Certification through the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching and the National Board of Medical Examiners, Applied Neuroscience Coach Certification from The Neuroscience Academy, and university training in psychology.

Credentials are the floor, not the point. What they make possible is a framework that goes past information into practice: a structured way to apply the science of healthy aging to daily life.

Recommendations are based on the best available evidence and, where appropriate, supported by established research, observed associations, and expert review. Every strategy is personalized. Every conversation is focused on building the capacities that matter most.
